APPLE - SOMETIMES THOUGHT TO BE THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN - IT WASN'T. WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL PRODUCED, BUT WE DO KNOW THAT THE SIN OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN WAS SIMPLE DISOBEDIENCE TO THE KNOWN WILL OF GOD.
FLOWER - Pretty, but short-lived. We need the Word of God.
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (Isaiah 40:
DOG - Sometimes referred to as "man's best friend," dogs do not live as long as we live. This balloon dog will only last a few days at best, and a real dog only a maximum of 15 to 20 years. We all need a friend who lives forever, and who will never leave us nor forsake us.
Proverbs 18:24-AV A man [that hath] friends must shew himself friendly and there is a friend [that] sticketh closer than a brother.
SWORD/CROSS- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Ephesians 6:17)
For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
IF WE LOOK TO THE WORD OF GOD FOR ADVICE, IT WILL POINT US TO THE CROSS OF CHRIST.
FISH - Early symbol of the church The fish - The symbol of the fish is not connected to the feeding of the multitude, nor to the fact of the early disciples being fishermen, but rather an interesting acrostic of the Greek word FISH. The word transliterated into English is IXTHUS. It is an acrostic of the words, JESUS CHRIST, GOD'S SON, SAVIOR.
Iesus (Greeks did not have a J) Jesus
Xristos (In Greek, X=CH) Christ
THeon (The TH are one letter in Greek.) God's
BEE - "Bee" verses
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Eph. 4:32
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Eph. 6:10
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Ps. 100:4
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom. 12:2
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Cor. 15:58
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matt. 24:44
PARROT - SOME PEOPLE JUST REPEAT PRAYERS, AND DON'T REALLY TALK TO GOD. THEY ARE LIKE PARROTS. WE NEED TO JUST TALK TO HIM.
FULL BALLOON - FUN - LIKE LIFE, EMPTY BALLOON - NO FUN - LIKE DEATH THE EMPTY BALLOON IS LIKE THE BODY AT A FUNERAL. THE PART THAT WAS FUN IS GONE. THE AIR LEAVES THE BALLOON, AND WE CANNOT SEE IT, BUT IT IS STLL THERE. THE PERSON WHO KNOWS THE LORD, AND DIES, LEAVES THEIR BODY BEHIND, BUT THEY GO TO BE WITH THE LORD.
HUMMINGBIRD - Seeks daily food from the depths of the sweetness of flowers. We need to seek God's best daily.
Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: (Isaiah 34:16)
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. (Colossians 3:1)
ALLIGATOR OR CROCODILE - Remnants of the age of the dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs probably did not die out before man existed. The book of Job refers to Leviathan and Behemoth, both original words refer to large beasts, but almost nothing is known about them. Along the bank of the Paluxy River near Glen Rose, Texas there are footprints of Dinosaurs in the sandstone. At an access area about a mile past the entrance to Dinosaur Valley State Park, there are human footprints in the same layer of stone, and right next to the dinosaur prints. Who says Dinosaurs are extinct. The Komodo Dragon of Indonesia is a modern version of one, and how about alligators and crocodiles. They are in the same general class, and all species of animals have changed some through accommodation to climate and conditions. That is not the kind of evolution that claims one species changed into another.
FRUIT – IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE SEVERAL KINDS OF FRUIT, BUT I USUALLY MAKE THREE – APPLE, BANANA, GRAPES.
APPLE – The non-biblical story of the ten apples God gave to man. 3 to trade for food, 3 to trade for shelter, and 3 to trade for clothing, and 1 to give back to God. Man did all the trading, and then looked at that last beautiful apple, ATE IT, (BREAK BALLOON APPLE) AND GAVE GOD BACK THE CORE.
THREE FRUITS CAN SYMBOLIZE THE FRUIT IN OUR LIVES – Character: what we are inside. Conduct: how we act toward others. Converts: every fruit is a seed bearer, to reproduce itself. We bear the seed of the Word of God to produce other Christians.
Three fruits can also symbolize the fruit of the Spirit. Gal. 5:22,23 3 are inward, 3 are outward, and 3 are Godward.
